Senior Research and Development Engineer - Autonomous Robots

We are a young startup in Vietnam who wants to bring autonomous mobile robots that make practical sense to warehousing, logistics, and agriculture. We are involved in all aspects of the self-driving mobile robots, from hardware design to software development.     QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Practical experience with NVIDIA DRIVE Perception, Jetson AGX Orin

  • Strong programming skills with C, C++, Python, and Linux

  • Proven expertise in hardware design, firmware development, and low-level software programming

  • Experience working on the full stack of a robotics system

  • Practical experience with machine learning, specifically deep learning, computer vision, and robotics or autonomous vehicles.

  • In-depth understanding of robotics algorithms (perception, navigation, planning, control)

  • A larger expert of robotics systems (ROS2, PCL) is preferred

  • 5+ years of industry R&D experience

    BONUS POINTS:

  • Knowledge of Visual SLAM, point cloud registration, GNSS/INS

  • Knowledge and experience working with IMU, GPS, lidars, radars, cameras, and sensor fusion

  • Experience with Deep Learning and Generative AI for robotics applications

  • Experience with simulation tools for robotics (Movelt and Isaac Sim)

  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, particularly deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), is a significant advantage

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integrate and apply Drive Perception stack to newly-built mobile robots

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge algorithms for perception, navigation, path planning, and motion control using Deep Learning and Generative techniques

  • Design and develop real-time algorithms situation interpretation, collision avoidance etc

  • Analyze, optimize, and tune the performance of your software stack

  • Ensure the highest software quality for our products
