Senior FPGA Design Engineer

We are looking for an FPGA Design Engineer to join our R&D team. This position will be responsible for hardware architecture design and development FPGA chip. You will cooperate closely with the EE, product management, and software teams. QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Masters / PhD in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field.
•    4+ years of developing FPGA with the highest standards and stability
•    Experience in the design, test, debug and fielding of FPGAs with understanding of embedded processors, microcontrollers, and VHDL based FPGAs
•    Strong programming skills with C, C++, Python, and Linux
•    Experience in one of the major ECAD tools (e.g. Altium, Cadence)
•    Knowledge of FPGA (architectures and design principles) 
•    Experience with high-quality board design, schematic capture, or FPGA programming.
•    Knowledge of both digital design and Embedded system design methodologies
•    Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

BONUS POINTS:

•    Familiarity working with Altera / Xilinx / Lattice FPGAs
•    Good understanding of fundamentals: FPGA architecture, Logic Design concepts, Development, validation 
•    Networking knowledge using tools like EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, EtherCAT, Modbus, or variations of CAN
•    Good understanding of the following concepts: Multi Clock designs, Asynchronous interface

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    FPGA architecture design and development, Logic Design concepts, Development, validation 
•    Responsibilities include specification, architecture/microarchitecture definition hands-on implementation work for every aspect of ASIC/FPGA design, working closely with the product marketing, system, software, and ASIC/FPGA design and verification teams
•    Delivery of expert level technical support in the resolution of FPGA design and application issues
•    Knowledge of external memory interfaces serial, parallel and interfacing signals.
•    Block-level as well as system-level simulation and debugging.
•    Collaboration with DSP and/or software engineer to implement algorithm in FPGA
•    Work on the development of documentation (system) related to hardware and firmware
•    PCB circuit design, schematics, BOM, and board/system level debug
•    Developing hardware and firmware functionality living up to the ever-increasing security standards
•    Design and development of Deep Neural Networks for semantic understanding of processor
•    Work on the development of documentation (system) related to hardware and firmware
•    An ability to analyze data, highlight abnormalities, and present outcomes to the audience with a range of technical expertise
•    Analyze, optimize, and tune the performance of your HW&SW
•    Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
